Jacqueline Choa, MD

Born and raised in the Philippines, Jacqueline Choa, MD, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Internal Medicine. After receiving her medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine, Dr. Choa completed her internal medicine residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. After her residency, she went to Tulane University to pursue a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care, following it up with an additional year of training in interventional pulmonology at the University of Utah.
Dr. Choa’s clinical interests include the management and diagnosis of peripheral lung nodules, central airway obstruction, and pleural disorders. Through years of training, Dr. Choa has extensive experience in in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy including robotic navigational bronchoscopy and lung biopsy, rigid bronchoscopy for benign and malignant endobronchial tumors, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and medical thoracoscopy.
