Angelica E. Honsberg, MD

Dr. Angelica Honsberg, an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Internal Medicine, graduated from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia.
She completed her internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University and a pulmonary fellowship at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Honsberg is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Honsberg, who complete a critical care fellowship through the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine, has worked for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System since moving to Las Vegas in 1994. She has a particular interest in cystic fibrosis and is the adult director for the VA Southern Nevada Cystic Fibrosis Center.
Her research on snoring, which is associated with an increasing prevalence of hypertension, stroke and ischemic heart disease, was published in CHEST, the official journal of the American College of Chest Physicians.
