Additionally, Nik has training in holistic approaches such as meditation, trauma-informed yoga, Reiki, and nutrition for trauma healing.

Nikita is a member of WPATH and keeps up to date on evolving standards of care and best practices for transgender adolescents and adults. Nik is additionally registered with Out Care and the LGBTQ+ Provider Directory. Nik is conversational in ASL and is happy to conduct therapy sessions with voice off, no matter what contributes to a client’s preference to speak little or not at all.

Before becoming a social worker, Nik was a writer and has published three books and two short stories under a different name. Nik got his high school diploma at 14 and graduated with a BA in Creative Writing at 19. Nik has variable disabilities that means he is sometimes in a wheelchair or using various braces, and sometimes he appears able-bodied.

Nikita has been practicing since July 2024. Nik specializes in LGBTQ+ and chronically ill clients but sees clients of all kinds, ranging from pre-teen to older adult. Nik takes practical, holistic approaches when those suit best, and he is used to working with those who are easily overlooked or excluded from healthcare in other settings.

Nikita lives with his wife, his teenager, and his four cats. Nik is a proud geek and enjoys video games, Dungeons and Dragons, reading, writing, and watching television.
