Paulina Altshuler, DO, received her bachelor’s degree in molecular toxicology at the University of California, Berkeley, before completing her doctor of osteopathy at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, and is currently an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics.
During medical school, Dr. Altshuler was a member of the Rural and Wilderness Medicine Honors Track, a Predoctoral Anatomy Fellow, and was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi (SSP) Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity. In residency, she received the resident awards for maternal fetal medicine, family planning, and urogynecology, and in her final year, she was selected to be an administrative chief resident.
Dr. Altshuler’s professional memberships include: American Urogynecology Society, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Wilderness Medicine Society, and the American Medical Association. She enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology, particularly high-risk pregnancies, contraceptive care, and minimally invasive surgery.
