Jose Aponte-Pieras, MD, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and went on to complete his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Aponte-Pieras’s research has been published in numerous journals including American Journal of Case Reports, Cancer Letters, and ACG Case Reports Journal.
