G. A. DeAndrea, MD, MBA, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Department of Internal Medicine. A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. DeAndrea completed his residency in neurology at Georgetown University Medical Center and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Washington, Seattle. 

Along with being a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN), Dr. DeAndrea is board-certified in neurology, neurocritical care, sleep medicine, and EEG/clinical neurophysiology. Having been a vascular neurohospitalist, Dr. DeAndrea was instrumental in establishing the first comprehensive stroke program in Nevada.
