Denice Ichinoe, DO, is an assistant professor in the department of family and community medicine at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. Originally from California, Dr. Ichinoe earned her medical degree from Touro University Nevada and completed her residency in family and community medicine at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident. Her passion for sports medicine led her to pursue a fellowship in sports medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Ichinoe has been involved in team coverage for various sporting events, including National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championships, numerous marathons and endurance events, and local university and high school games.

Dr. Ichinoe is deeply passionate about diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries in athletes of all levels, from professional athletes to the weekend warriors. She specializes in performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures and has a particular interest in working with female athletes. A member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Dr. Ichinoe has presented at numerous sports medicine conferences, contributed chapters to a sports medicine textbook, and served as an instructor and speaker for diagnostic musculoskeletal workshops, educating students, residents, fellows, and primary care physicians nationwide.
