Susanna was born in Miami, Florida but has resided in Las Vegas, NV for 36 years. At a young age, she expressed a desire to help people. After high school, she went on to attend College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and graduate with an Associate of Arts degree. She then went on to pursue a degree in Social Work at UNLV and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW).

Susanna has worked in the social service field since graduating in 2011. She gained supervisory experience working in nursing homes with a team conducting Basic Skills Training (BST) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR). Susanna has been employed as a Day Treatment Program Counselor with UNLV Health Mojave Counseling since 2015. She is passionate about helping her clients reach their goals and be successful. At work she takes pride planning and coordinating events for Day Treatment Program, doing community outreach, volunteering, and facilitating groups.

Susanna enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She likes to sing, swim, exercise, attend concerts, and watch the Golden Knights, Dolphins, and Yankees compete.
